1. Copyright and Ownership of Photographic Works
All photographs, images, and visual content displayed on this Site are the exclusive intellectual property of Holger Laufenberg ("Photographer") and are protected by United States copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.) and applicable international copyright treaties, including the Berne Convention. Holger Laufenberg retains all rights, title, and interest in and to every image published on this Site, whether or not a copyright notice is displayed alongside the image.
Unauthorized use of any image on this Site is strictly prohibited. No photograph, image, or portion thereof may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published, licensed, modified, adapted, sold, or otherwise exploited — in whole or in part — for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without the prior express written permission of Holger Laufenberg. This prohibition applies to all forms of reproduction and distribution, including but not limited to print, digital, broadcast, social media, artificial intelligence training datasets, and any other medium now known or hereafter developed.
Any unauthorized use of the Photographer's images constitutes copyright infringement and will be actively pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law. Holger Laufenberg reserves the right to seek all available legal and equitable remedies, including but not limited to injunctive relief, statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work for willful infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 504, actual damages, disgorgement of profits, and recovery of attorneys' fees and costs. Infringers may also be subject to criminal prosecution under 17 U.S.C. § 506.
